The intelligence of the House Intelligence Chair. . . . Please come CAPTION Devin Nunes!!!

Devin ("All I want for Christmas is an I.Q. over 51" ) Nunes is saying: "Chris, I'd tell my critics this: it's because of the law that I want to get together with a group of fellow, concerned Republican congressmen and issue a report on the corruption of our chief law enforcement agency, the F.B.I. . . . After all, we only want the truth, and since they're our nation's eyes and ears, it's essential that we believe them. . . But until they learn to tell us what we 'only want,' how can we even begin to listen, much less believe what they might say? . . . In fact, it's precisely because I haven't listened to them that I know the truth. . . . It's just common sense."

"Listen, Chris, I know why you say that people don't believe me. Somebody tells them that. . . . But you never come right out and ask me if I'm telling the truth or not. . . . How slanted or bias is that?"

"I felt like I had a duty and obligation to tell him, because, as you know, he's taking a lot of heat in the news media, and I think to some degree there are some things he should look at to see whether, in fact, he thinks the collection was proper or not," Nunes said.

At the end of the day, sometimes you make the right decision, sometimes you don't," Nunes said earlier Thursday.
