The New Year is just around the corner. In 2018 we should all listen to his words and live our lives closer to the way he taught us to be- if it was only possible. It would be great to find a way to welcome the stranger and give refuge to those hoping to find a better life here in our Country, but we must keep them out and throw out those who made it here because they bring drugs, and crime and theyre rapists. If only we could give up our guns, for all who draw the sword will die by the sword but there are bad people out there and it takes a good guy with a gun to stop a bad guy with a gun. Healing the sick is a wonderful idea, but if the sick cant afford health care it is not my responsibility to help them get it. Turning the other cheek sounds good, but we are at war with terrorists, so if we have to torture a few Muslims or kill their family to win, so be it. Not to get too Old Testament here, but lets not forget thou shalt not kill, except, I suppose cop killers and the civilians that get in the way of our drones. And we must remember what Jesus said about the gays and abortion, if somebody only knew what it was because as far as I know, nobody wrote it down. Yeah, if only Christians could act Christian, but thats a little quaint in todays world, isnt it?

I try to go through my daily life using this philosophy, and I am by no means religious.
What is so hard to understand about this concept? I guess it's why humans had to invent the devil and the antichrist.
