Gov. Jerry Brown just stopped by the house

to wish Mrs. cali & I a very merry xmas.
He also said he'd be honored to be on our soon to be Democratic Central Committee for Colusa County, since he will be a resident of said county.
This is my first thread in the twenty odd years I've been reading DU.

I lived in Mendocino county at the time of DU's inception, obviously time was a floating factor then, I think, if I remember correctly, and obviously I don't.

Love Jerry Brown. I hope the democrats will pick the ablest to run in 2020 and not only on gender and age.
Also Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, besides Jerry Brown, all in their 70s, would be sure winners at the head of the ticket. IMHO.

He and Ann have been here more than a few times, he was in a better than average mood.
My big thrill was having Nance Greggs recommend this thread, all the other responses and recs were/are great, and helped me through this strenuous time of the year, time of tRump.
DU has always been an important refuge for me, and with this thread of support I just might have the strength to speak truth to power, no where near what Nance does, but none the less, another voice in the fight.
