treated like royalty when they appear 'for questioning' before Congress or Parliament or wherever they 'agree' to put on a performance.

Kind of reminds of Abu Ghraib. They let the real perps off the hook but gave the public a few little people to vent their anger on and distract from the real criminals, who are also still running around treated as if they were royalty.
