(81,511 posts)All it's really done is to make him a HUGE "get" for future talk shows - not only as featured guest but also maybe for a TV or cable talk show of his own. A platform, from which he could potentially consider a run for the White House. If nothing else, it would keep him on top, give him a voice with a whole new kind of podium and microphone, and elevate him to highly-paid speakers bureau roster, where he could command princely sums for making speeches. He stands to make a lot of money now. As a commodity for bookings and public appearances he's gonna be HOT and much in demand. And that's a good thing.
