(2,091 posts)Sickening that Gillibrand and the rest of the lynch mob didn't have a change of heart, but that would be expecting too much I guess

(4,238 posts)Let's not kid ourselves, Jones is going to be another Manchin "Democrat." And we're going to have fight really hard to retain Franken's seat next year, one that was safe until at least 2020. But, you know, someone had to have her "moment."

He can clear his name and run again. He wasn't impeached or found guilty and censured out, so he actually did the right thing...

Schumer made a huge mistake in organizing the attack on Franken.
Schumer still doesn't see the big picture on what we are up against. We need some leadership from outside Congress.

(30,481 posts)We have a lot of work to make sure this seat is held down the road. It's not a given. I'm excited to see who will be appointed as his replacement.
We should crush electorally if we play our cards right moving forward.

(4,238 posts)The people of Minnesota should have been afforded the same rights as those in Alabama to decide who represents them. Instead, the decision was made by a lynch mob more concerned about scoring points in a game where only one side is playing.
