It's about time that they realize just who they should be afraid of instead.
2018 is coming.

(5,376 posts)That, and gerrymandering, is what led us to here. When a few billionaires can fund all of the political campaigns (or that of primary opponents), they have complete control over what the folks in Congress will do.

(2,201 posts)Why should they be scared of the people who vote for them? Those folks think the republicans are doing a great job. Hell, the republicans just passed a bill called "The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act". Tax cuts are good, and so are jobs.....so it's a great bill.
The people that consistently vote for republicans are uninformed morons. They think that the stock market was in freefall until Trump was elected. Most of them think that the rest of the world loves us due to all the great things that Trump is doing. The ones that know that our worldwide popularity sucks, think it's because of Obama, and that Trump hasn't had time to turn it around yet.
Bottom line....they don't know what the fuck is going on, and they don't want to, so there is no reason in hell the republicans should be scared of them. None at all. Not in 2018, or 2020, or ever.
The ones the republicans need to worry about are the Obama voters that voted republican during the last election, and the people who didn't vote at all.
