aaaaaa5a's JournalI changed my support to Amy Klobuchar. I've changed? Have you? If so why?
After last night's debate I changed my support from Joe Biden to Amy Klobuchar.
I like Klobuchar because she can win a general election. She can win in places we need to get back... mainly the midwest.
I am a fan of her more "middle of the road" approach. I think she is a good debater. I don't understand why she hasn't been more successful. I worry our party will push the nominee too far left to win. Sadly, it's not a national election. Running up the popular vote total in California will not win the White House.
I worry about Biden's ability to take on Trump. He's struggled in the debates. He has trouble expressing his thoughts. I fear it's age related. People age at different rates. Biden appears mentally old. Sanders while numerically older does not. Neither does Warren.
Question. Have you changed your candidate preference? If so, why?

When the race was categorized as 'to close to call" I thought it was going to be an early night. Additionally, there were reports that only %27 of white voted for Jones. And that Jones was not winning a big enough share of the white college educated vote to win statewide.
The TV coverage was slanted with pundits talking as if Moore would win. Their only source for this early prognosis were the exit polls.
The problem was neither number was accurate. Tonight we had a "reverse Bradley effect." There were white voters who told exit pollsters they had voted for Moore when they clearly did not.
Going forward exit polls have no credibility.

The Democrats are literally having a second National Convention!
This is a brilliant move by the Clinton campaign. I believe it will be a permanent part of all campaigns going forward. It is that good!
In addition the Obama's have the chance historically to enter the true stratosphere of all time great American Presidencies.
Tomorrow Hillary Rodham Clinton will be our 45th American President. I am so proud!

Pollster.com's Charles Franklin was a little ahead of the curve Sunday morning when he pointed out that President Obama's approval rating right now is among the highest Election-Day approval ratings in recent history.
Franklin tracked recent survey results by party to evaluate Obama's approval, finding that, at 52.1 percent on average, he's viewed more positively now than Ronald Reagan was at the end of his second term, but not as positively as was Bill Clinton at the end of his.
On Election Day 2012, Obama was right at 50 percent, according to Gallup. For past presidents, we have to interpolate from poll numbers on either side of Election Day. But Franklin appears to be right: Obama's more popular now than was Reagan in 1988 -- or any modern era president in office at election time in the past four decades except Clinton in 2000 and Reagan in 1984.

Barack Obama is our Ronald Reagan. In fact he is better. He is truly going to be remembered as one of the best and most transformational Presidents in our country's history.
