How about a DO NOT STREAM THIS AWFUL MOVIE thread.
Unless you do it for laughs and to create your own MST 3000 event.

Frozen...sucked to the point it shifted gravitation and the orbit of the moon. You know the moon was supposed to be FULL today? It's my fault for streaming this utter suck of a movie.

A ski resort would just shut down lifts and close for several days without checking to be sure that people weren't still on the lifts....really?

And lots of other..."reallys?"

But the biggest one has to be that wolf pack in Massachusetts.

1. Or how about a...
..."Should I bother?" thread.

I noticed the film "Frankenstein Unbound" today. The cast looks good. The twist on the classic story is intriguing but Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 40% fresh rating.

Should I bother?

2. The Machinist * I
In my opinion, with certain few exceptions, Christian Bale is a one-trick pony. Over an hour of CB mumbling his way through a role is waaaaay too much.

The Machinist
2004 R 101 minutes
Trevor Reznik (Christian Bale) hasn't slept in a year, and his physical and mental health have eroded. So when cryptic notes pop up in his apartment and he has visions of a co-worker nobody else can see, is it reality -- or just the next level of insomnia? His call-girl girlfriend (Jennifer Jason Leigh) seems to be the only bright spot in Trevor's quickly deteriorating world. And he, too, seems to be breaking down.

Cast:Christian Bale, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Aitana Sánchez-Gijón, John Sharian, Michael Ironside, Larry Gilliard Jr., Reg E. Cathey, Anna Massey, Matthew Romero, Robert Long, Colin Stinton, Craig Stevenson Director:Brad Anderson Genres:Thrillers, Psychological Thrillers, Indie Suspense & Thriller, Paramount Home Entertainment, Blu-ray This movie is:Cerebral, Dark, Mind-bending, Suspenseful, Scary Format:DVD, Blu-ray and streaming

4. Not meaining to turn this into an " I love Christina Bale" thread
Edited on Sat Mar-12-11 07:13 PM by Lindsey
but I thought "The Machinist" was incredible and his performance in "The fighter" was one of the finest performances ever. Off the top of my head, I know I've streamed some that were awful but right now they aren't coming to mind.

5. I even loved him in the Terminator Whatever Number" movie.
That awe/fear/sadness when he first looks at the new terminator that doesn't yet know it's a machine....

tears man.
