Holy fuck . . . . does it ever get any better?
Panetta from CIA to Defense.

Petrayus from Defense to CIA.

Meanwhile, Goldman continues to hold sway over the economy.

A repubican has been at Transportation since day one.

Vilsack keeps the subsidies flowing at Ag.

Interior still gives out subsidies, too.

When does it get better? When do we the people get our representation?

4. It gets a little better, just a little.
We will finally have a Democrat at Defense for the first time in 17 years. Other than that, not so much.

5. Its all a sad, pathetic joke on us. They clearly believe they don't even need to pretend anymore.
They're just going through to motions because they know they'll get away with it.
We still put up with it. More pain for us on the way.

29. What would it look like if they did have lobbyists?
Would it be possible to create a system where citizens pay and choose a lobbyist who's directly accountable to them? Or is it the promise of corporate vacations in String-Bikini Land to congressmen that really constitutes a lobbyist's influence?

Basically what makes a lobbyist influential? Their actual work or the forces they represent?

8. Where does Grover Norquist fit in as part of the problem?
Why is it that until recently, one never heard his name mentioned as part of the overall problem. Remember Each repub has to or is pressured to signing a "party" Pledge To America to Never raise taxes and Anything that may cause one dime more to be deducted is interpreted as a "tax increase".

13. It gets better when we stand up and demand representation.

We are too far away from the election right now but over the next year the country will be rising up and demanding accountability. I think the GOP already knows they aren't going to win the next election so they'll either try to steal it or buy it!

The right is working on disenfranchising voters and we have to put a stop to that before they succeed.
