An idiots guide to surviving the Obama "Death panels"
http://bayareahouston.blogspot.com/2010/12/how-to-survive-obamas-death-panels-for.html

My last post of the year:

In a recent poll 35% of adults over 65 years old still believe Sarah Palin's "Death panels" actually exist. As Palin said :
"My parents or my baby with Down syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama's death panel so his bureaucrats can decide ... whether they are worthy of healthcare".

For the ignorant fools who still believe Palin and are afraid of losing their Government provided Medicare, I have provided a guide below on how to survive a death panel interview and retain your rights to health care and your life. Please share.

5. Ah...The 'Death Panels'...Come On ...It Won't Be That Obvious...

It won't be that blatant...It will be nefarious.

Perhaps based on age (older folks tend to get real sick and need expensive care).
Perhaps based on life style (have you ever smoked, drank, been exposed to toxic chemicals, had a relationship with a same sex partner?).
Perhaps based on right or left handedness (the brain functions a bit differently you know).
Perhaps based on your parents or a family members past health (these things tend to generational you know).

All of which are established in the age old 'patient history'. After all, why the heck do they ask all those questions anyway?

No..wait, all of these might just amount to 'pre-existing conditions'.

The 'Health Care' of the future will not look anything like the 'Health Care' of the past.

Or will it?

If you're too old you won't be able to get certain coverage.
If your past life has involved smoking, drinking, working in an industrial type job or a same sex relationship, you won't be able to get certain coverage.
If you're prone to using one hand or the other, or both, you won' be able to get certain coverage.
If your parents or a family member was ever seriously ill, you won't be able to get certain coverage.

Because all of this happened before you got sick.

The new 'Health Care' and its costs will just squeeze all the life out of you, no need for certain coverage.

Unless you happen to have a boat-load of cold, hard cash, then you'll get all the new 'Health Care' you'll ever need, no matter how you dress, look, smell or act.

And when they are done squeezing the life out of the middle class, they will go after those making over $250K per year.

'Death Panels'?...No...There will never be any 'Death Panels'!

Just the new 'Health Care'...Coming soon to a health insurer near you.
