Jon Kyl Should Be Forced To Apologize Publicly To Planned Parenthood.
the Republicans are always pitching fits about something a Democrat says and forcing that Democrat to apologize.

Frankly, it's a shame that Kyl isn't being forced to apologize.

He didn't just fudge some statistics. He flat out lied and intentionally misrepresented what Planned Parenthood does.

8. So did I!
I told him knowingly lying to the American people is unacceptable, that he can never be believed again, and should resign immediately because he has zero integrity! :grr:

6. He should appologise on the senate floor so it's entered into the official record
That's what he did with the lie that "well over 90%" of PP's work is abortion. I believe he intended this non-fact to be the official US Senate position, and as far as I know, it now is.

10. I agree. Kyl's lie was entered into the Congressional Record.
Unfortunately we don't live in a polite society and may have to be satisfied with the evisceration that clown got in the MSM.

13. Yes, but then cast "Obliviate" and made the offending lie disappear from the public record.
Or some shit like that.

19. But there is a little known fact
A congressperson can go and ask them to delete it out of the
Congressional Record and make it disappear, which he did,
no longer there.

11. Sounds good to me. Now, how to we force him to do that?
That's the real question, I think. The problem is that we cannot. All we can do is spread the truth. Liars do not apologize, if they are politicians.

14. truthfully, I think what Colbert did is even better than
getting an apology from Kyl (you know he would NEVER do it!). Now everyone knows what a silly ass he is and how can anyone ever take what he says seriously again? He is infamous due to #NotIntendedToBeAFactualStatement

17. He should be made to stand on the floor of the Senate
and say he lied, allowing that to be noted into the Congressional Record. And since these guys can't help themselves to not lie on the floor of the Senate - maybe they have to make a rule about willfully lying on the floor being a ethics violation.
