fiber of my being. And they know it upsets me and burns to the core. Can I threaten violence or actually behead these people for insulting me so? And edit to add, should the people who are insulting me so horribly be put in jail?

2. it is a rhetorical question, just saying, in case it does get locked
although I don't think it should. I'm beginning to think that people shouldn't say some of the stuff they do as it insults me and hurts ME.

You think that's ok? Rhetorically speaking, of course.

but the thread is an implication that something another DU poster might say would lead you to murderous violence...I think that's inappropriate

20. It's not attacking DU members; it is using that as an example
to raise a question. Let's not be as literal as right wingers generally are.

3. I see what you're getting at, but I think not everyone will.
Maybe you could tie this into the story a little better. As it stands, the reference may be too obscure.

15. Yes, I know. Still, when you post something without reference,
you're opening the door for misinterpretation. Such has already occurred in this thread. Not everyone knows who you are or what you think. In fact, probably most DUers don't.

12. I'm not into violence. I am into posing a question to try to get people to think
a little more about their positions. Just as they are doing with their type written words.

10. you can, but you'd be guilty of
breaking the law of the land. That doesn't mean that you weren't provoked- and in this country we do take that into account when we 'judge' peoples actions. The law DOES take into account the circumstances behind peoples actions. I could be argued that you have the 'right'- (1st Amendment) to threaten violence in response to words used against you. It would only be the actions that would/should be legally actionable. According to many.

You can always contact them privately and threaten them...and unless they complain to the PTB no one else will ever know about it. As far as the beheading thing goes, that's entirely up to you.
