Fox news: "Please kill our soldiers"

Fox News wants to kill our troops. They should be put on trial for treason.

...............

I am a former team member of Army Special Forces Operational Detachment-Alpha 585. I fought in Afghanistan, from the earliest days. I am currently a member of law enforcement. In other words, I am everything that the cliche says should make me a conservative. I am a progressive.

........................

Never did I imagine that the blind hyper-partisinism of the conservatives would so directly attack American troops. (They have done so more subtly: Imagine what it is like to be fighting under the Commander in Chief of the United States while legitimate politicians and news media are saying he is a Kenyan, and a Manchurian Candidate.)

In the past few days, in order to attack Obama, the traitors at Fox have been raging about the U.S. putting "boots on the ground" in Libya. Now, what that demonstrates to me is that none of these people have ever served in the military: boots on the ground means a full-scale ground war. But that is not what they are talking about.

Instead, they are criticizing and fear-mongering over their belief that a Special Forces detachment is in Libya. I have no specific knowledge of whether this is true. Such information, for the obvious reasons of protecting our troops, is classified. Fox is guessing. And they are inviting the Lbyans to hunt for members of Special Forces.

much more (including Fox Transcripts as evidence):

2. It's about time the people directly affected by what spews from Fox News
start speaking out about the damage they are doing to our country.

8. Not speaking... suing!
Seriously, someone is being damaged by the lies told by Fox News. Instead of suing them to tell the truth, a case needs to be made that it is damaging the nation.

It wouldn't even be that difficult a case to build.

3. If it was Billo's boots on the ground in Libya
they'd be filled with urine in short order.

4. Fox is run by an Australian family
so in a sense FNC is saying "please kill THEIR soldiers." It is not treason since it is done by Australians. Btw Murdoch is now the 2nd richest man in Australia:

11. Yes he is...
he became a US citizen back in the 80s so that he could own TV stations here -- at the time there were regulations requiring US ownership.

10. I'm with you on this.
I read the entire dialogue and found it very disturbing. These conservatives claim to be the most patriotic and most concerned about the U.S. troops
and will abandon all sense of patriotism and concern to make an attempt at debasing our President.

Offhand, do you know any federal statute we can use to present to the U.S. Attorney General? I'm willing to help do some research on codes and possible case laws that might
exist on this matter.

12. Wait..saying there are US Special Forces in Libya is akin to treason?
Really?

I don't like Fox News, but this...goofy at best and disturbingly authoritarian at worst.
