Dog crapping in yard leads to neighborly shootout
"Associated Press news agency said Jerry Blasingame, 60, has been charged with assault for shooting Terry Tehnet, 52, with a shotgun.

Mr Tehnet was angry because he thought Mr Blasingame's dog had defecated on his lawn, in a rural part of the state."

1. well gosh
Hi,
I get annoyed at my neighbor's dog dumping in my yard but have only resorted to tossing them over the hedge back into his yard if I witnessed the doo doo deed.

Peace

2. Sounds like a very reasonable use of firearms to me. He had to protect himself
from that dogshit that was going to kill him.

Oh wait, I thought this was the gungeon with all those gunwankers.

5. Do they really need a picture of the dog pooping?
It has this very defiant look on its face, like 'what are you lookin at? take a picture it will last longer.'

8. Of course they need that picture...
How else are they going to prove that the shooting stemmed from the offending 'Dog emission'.

If we had the technology, they would have included a 'scratch and sniff' spot in the story as more proof.

10. Why am I not surprised this was in Mississippi?
I lived there for 7 years. I've been to the rural parts. I'm surprised this doesn't make the news more often.
