Scott Walker scares away more business from Wisconsin

So besides losing the Spanish train manufacturer, he's now creating a climate of confusion with his pro-fossil fuel plans that favor his owner, the Koch Brothers. Wasn't he supposed to be opening the state for business? Mission Accomplished, bonehead.

Chicago energy development firm Invenergy on Monday notified state regulators that it’s withdrawing plans to build a large wind power project south of Green Bay.

The company said it was concerned about moving forward because of the state of flux in Wisconsin’s regulatory climate when it comes to wind siting. Gov. Scott Walker has proposed a bill that would sharply curtail wind development...

1. What is the difference between Scott "Imperial" Walker
and a malignant tumor?

3. There are too many similarities...
The only thing I can think of is that a malignant tumor has more charisma, and likely isn't owned by Koch Industries.

6. Thanks! Good one.
Thinking about it, it only takes one good surgeon to remove the damn thing, but it takes thousands of people to stand up and march to get rid of the Walker malignancy.

Judging by the spread of this malignancy now, that may take millions, maybe almost all of us to fight this disease and beat it.

8. Invenergy is already in Illinois.
At least, that's what I took "Chicago-based" to mean...

which has sufficient wind for this farm. I've seen testing with underwater turbines around NY. I would think the Ol' Miss would be a good spot for that type of generation.

5. I have a feeling he is chasing away the tourists, too.
When people go on vacation, they want to get away from the world. They want to fish. They want to go to the Dells. They want to go to the Swiss festival in New Glarus, or to some other little town for a big beer drink.

Think about it. While the state is in such a divided condition, people will not want to Escape to Wisconsin.

11. I'm still gonna go camping in WI. It's fun... but it hasn't as MUCH fun as before
Now the campgrounds have "quiet hours." And "dry" towns? This is Wisconsin, for God's sake! Just what the hell is going on?

That, Summerfest and Mars Cheese Castle, I can't do without. I will, however, pass on the Leinenkugel beer.

12. I still like it there, too.
But many vacationers are not like us. Just think about all the people who want to avoid controversy when they vacation.

All I heard during campaigning was JOBS JOBS JOBS!! With all the activity scooter has created in the courts, he may be creating 250,000 lawyer jobs.
