The fun side of tax sesason
(This is meant to be lighthearted, even as it is true. If you're inclined to chastise, consider instead some form of self flagellation to repress the urge . . . mmmkay?)

Some years back we had a run of parking tickets and red light camera violations. Nothing serious. As we were getting our tax data ready to send to our accountant, Sparkly asked how to categorize all the ticket payments. I said we should make a category called "Abject Disregard For the Law".

Our accountant called as he was doing our taxes to tell us how funny he found that.

The category, empty for the last few years, remains on our Quicken account.

No, you can't. But there was enough money that one year that we wanted to track it.
