Bombing Libya is like trying to take our a nest of fire ants with an ICBM
Yeah, you'll kill the ants, but also the rest of the state of Texas in the process

We can't bomb our way to happiness - even though that seems to be our only reaction

1. The official story is that the bombs are necessary to make the
airspace safe for patrols. Bombing anti-aircaft guns & so on.

The part that sets off the bullshit alarm is that the US is now embarking in an unspoken proxy war, the size & duration of which nobody knows.

5. I'd buy into this, except that the people we are going to "protect"
Edited on Mon Mar-21-11 03:30 PM by The_Casual_Observer
have made it pretty clear that they are in voluntary armed conflict with those tanks. It sort of tangles up the simple morals & ethics of the situation just a tad.
