3. This worries me greatly, to hear this stuff.
I do not believe in the "Rapture". I am a Christian and believe no one knows when or how this world will end. I just discovered in the last few days that a precious member of my family believes in this. I am very disturbed by all the other people I know who have these beliefs. It is a very fatalistic, what will be, will be, attitude, that leads to the attitude that man can DO NOTHING about any of the disasters we endure. Some of them, we do not have control over, such as earthquakes, tsunamis, tornados. But others, such as oil spills, poisoning the atmosphere, water, and soil are MAN CAUSED, and should be MAN controlled and solved. We are responsible for the care of the planet we live on. That video and statement about the oil spill just sent me into a sad rage. Why isn't the media investigating this???? Is it too old news, overwhelmed by the war and Japanese tragedy? I can find nothing but supposition about what is causing that huge area of oil to be released into the gulf.
