XKCD is a fantastic comic in its own right, but this is really nice for people who want to see comparable radiation amounts:

I'm a fan and I saw it earlier as it hit my rss feed. (It also hit a data visualization site I subscribe to.) But I wonder if it's really that much easier to understand than a traditional logarithmic plot such as this one:

2. The logarithmic isn't as fancy but is easier to understand

Plus it specifies "per hour" etc
