7. Nah, 1986 was a miracle

The blast created khadifi's daughter, aged her 15 months and killed her all in the microseconds of an explosion. Never figured out why it did not spawn a religion, after all there is one based on immaculate conception.

39. It did form a religion.

I just googled the issue and found a pile of sites claiming the daughter thing was pure fiction. But I must note, every one of them I clicked on was a right-wing rag.

Snopes was inconclusive. So I'm going to hold off on judging that one, too.

35. I
would much prefer just taking out dictators instead of waging wars all over the world. I have no problem with that. I DO have a problem with waging long wars for oil and killing innocent civilians and spending BILLIONS of dollars we don't have.

34. Just speculation, it is undeniably coalition forces
that did it, it is unlikely that it was American forces. Probably British using a tomahawk we sold them, and a difference that only a lawyer could parse.

65. Stop replying to my posts. I didn't respond to anything you posted here...YOU
replied to MY post. You show up in every thread I post in. Are you stalking me? Or what?

You don't "archive" threads. Just go look at all your posts in "My DU" and find the posts where I supposedly said Obama is a murderer and baby killer (which I have NEVER said...EVER) and show me. I never said it, so I know you will never post the links. You shouldn't post things that you can't back up with proof.

Also, I have been a member of DU since 2 days after in went online. I have NEVER put anyone on ignore. It's stupid. And I'm not about to start now over someone like you.

They qualify as "extra-judicial killings."

In order to enforce a no-fly zone, a military force must render threats unable to function...
and one of the best ways to do that is to take out command-and-control assets. Such as the person in command and control.

Just sayin...

42. Haven't we now violated the UN Resolution again?
The all-too-broad permission was to protect civilian lives, not for us to assassinate Qaddafi, aid in toppling his regime or have the French attack armored vehicles that are involved in fighting with organized, armed combatants.

Do we believe in laws anymore, or just the ones we find to be convenient?

Doesn't this bother people other than the ones who were already against this adventurism?

61. Here's the difference.
Those of us who are expressing reluctant agreement with the no-fly zone ARE NOT calling those of you with other opinions "Idiots".

But, then, after years of RW rule, we are used to the name-calling when it isn't possible for the other side to engage in civil discourse.
