Do Japanese watching NHK give a rat's patoot about Libya?
It's interesting that in the past few days NHK has gone from reporting on nothing but the quake-tsunami-nuclear news to reporting on things like Libya and other world events much more regularly.
I think the people in Japan must be so depressed that anything taking their attention off the disasters is welcomed. But I can't understand how they can really think or care about anything else.
For those not directly involved in the disasters, there is a need to gradually return to normalcy. Baseball season will start as scheduled, with more day games.
