As Libya announces cease-fire, violence reported in Misrata
http://www.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/africa/03/18/libya.civil.war/index.html?hpt=C1

(CNN) -- Libya's government announced a "immediate" cease-fire on Friday, but witnesses in western and eastern Libya says conflict is raging.
Witnesses in the western city of Misrata said a pro-government assault is persisting and casualties are mounting.
"What cease-fire," asked a doctor in Misrata, who described hours of military poundings, descriptions of casualties, and dwindling resources to treat the wounded. "We're under the bombs."

1. A CIVIL WAR HAS 2 SIDES -- Have the rebels agreed to stop their fighting and rocketing against
Gov forces. To date the rebels have rejected all calls for a cease fire.
Should the Gov forces just allow the rebels to kill them?

If this goes on for more than a day, then the bellicose reporting will make sense.
At this point it is just a ratings game to throw out this type of story hours after
a diplomatic announcement in Tripoli.

THIS IS A HORRIBLE VIOLENT CONFLICT WITH HEAVILY ARMED FORCES ON BOTH SIDES.

Obviously it will take time for forces to disengage, unless this is a video game.
