MSNBC lineup.
I realize that MSNBC is persona non grata for some people these days but why did they decide to move Ed to the 10:00pm slot? Does he appeal to more youthful viewers or is it punishment for his own personal rally for US labor?

Why not move Rachel to the "sweet spot" that Countdown once occupied?

Why show a repeat of Hardball? I realize that both shows garner a pretty good rating but is splitting the ratings a good idea?

1. Shuffle comes with Keith's departure...
Larry O now has his spot, Rachel remains where she was and I guess they decided Ed would draw a bigger crowd in O'Donnell's previous spot.

They have Cenk in the early spot before Hardball, but that is not necessarily permanent.

I agree that Ed would be better served in an earlier spot. I still watch, but I damn well miss KO.

6. I'm with you.
I'm still not over Keith's departure and our cable does not provide Current TV. Well, at least we still have Rachel. The rest of them I can take or leave.

3. I thought what Rachel said about 'not helping' on those that create panic.
Was funny.

Ed was talking about some corporations buying cities, like the old corporate towns. That comes from what I think is a miss interpreting of something that should not be interpreted. Some people believe they are suppose to own towns and administer them by fiat, and sometimes even use religion to believe that.

I content that religion supports democracy.

Why was Saul worried about David, because 1000s were following David, and only 100s following Saul.

And what was said about why some that swore oaths to Caesar in the Temple went against Jesus, because everyone was following him.

Really hard to defend dictatorships or fiat decisions with those texts.

But the comment about helping, if someone needs help I would try to help, I think that is best. However I am still due beer and travel money, and nobody with way more then they need, has stepped up to correct that situation. I still need a check sent to me for the smear done years ago. So yea, I know a bit about those that don't help. At least she didn't try to invoke the dragon again,

4. Why Hardball is run twice is beyond me, especially with only 1 hr separating them.
Of all the people at msnbc - why Matthews? I don't even watch him anymore.

5. Keith will be on at 8 on Current. Do you want him competing with Rachel?

7. Hardball is hardly worth watching most of the time. I miss
Keith at 8:00, and liked watching Ed earlier in the evening. Ed has really been great for the working people since this all started.

8. 10pm is good for Ed.
It's primetime on the east *and* west coasts.

9. Ah, that seems like a good enough reason.
I did a quick check of the ratings and it definitely hasn't hurt him any. It's hard to tell right now because all of the events have caused a huge uptick in news channel ratings and CNN is actually posting numbers in the 2nd spot right now.
