I just watched this incredibly Huge Protest after Governor Walker signed his REAGAN (KILL THE WORKER/BREAK THE UNION) Bill and YET! Wisconsin VOTERS CAME IN THERE. Dairy Farmers with Tractors protesting the ending of their "Collective Bargaining" with big stores like Wallmart and others who want to break their backs...TEACHERS, FIREFIGHTERS, NURSES, DOCTORS, LAWYERS, CIVIL AND PRIVATE CITIZENS.

IT'S AMAZING. WISCONSIN DOESN'T GIVE UP...."We're STILL HERE!"

What an AMAZING THING TO POST ON "DEMOCRATIC UNDERGOUND" fighting for TRUTH, JUSTICE and the AMERICAN WAY!

This is INSIPIRING...after all the Defeat and Disilusionment WE DEMS HAVE FELT! Wisconsin is SHOWING US THE WAY!

(Forgive my SHOUTS...this is WORTH THE WATCH!) HAVE SPIRIT..."We...THE PEOPLE...Ain't DEAD YET!

Worker Uprising: Up to 185,000 Protest in Madison as Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker Signs Union-Busting Bill

In Wisconsin, more than 100,000 people filled the streets of Madison Saturday in what what has been described as the state’s largest protest ever. The massive rally was held one day after Republican Gov. Scott Walker signed a the controversial Bill Act 10, legislation that sharply curbs collective bargaining rights for most public employees in the state of Wisconsin. Speakers at the rally included many of the 14 Democratic senators who had fled the state three weeks ago in an attempt to stall the legislation. Democracy Now! was in Madison to cover the rally on the ground.

A wonderful, inspiring view and be sure to hit the links to the rest of this on the site!

21. 184,997 without me
I saw three (3) pro-walker signs. Looked like a father and his 2 sons. I wanted to ask them what they thought of all of this, but I held back. I just enjoyed watching them skulk around the edges.

I was there last Saturday as well and I saw 1 pro-walker sign.

Non-Union here by the way...

I showed up to support our public school teachers.

10. And they are not alone. Providence and Austin are also
gathering at their capitols protesting. They fired every single teacher in Providence and want to close schools in Texas, as if our classes were not crowded enough...

I feel the energy of this as the folks who turned out in HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS to ELECT OBAMA...and NOW they are MOVING ON! How can we not catch the enthusiasm of THIS and the EGPTIANS ordering PIZZ from LOCALS to SUPPORT LABOR!

It's good times and bad times.

It's up to US PEOPLE to make these times GOOD FOR ALL OF US...FOR ALL OF US. FIGHT BACK, PUSH BACK in WHATEVER WAY YOU CAN! Small Voices to LOUD VOICES! Keep it going......or we are LOST.......:-(

11. the Cowards would piss and shit themselves if it was reported honestly...
all this censoring is for the cowards who are racing to take our rights away when it comes to the internet. They know their censoring of the media isn't going to be enough to stop people from networking. They are no better than a bunch of Musolini fascists...

16. Yeah...but...after al these years..protesters have given up on MSM showing anything...work for their
CAUSE and not the Reporting. That's probably a good thing...to Move On after all this time hoping that anything one does will be reported...fairly...or at all.

Go for THE PRIZE. Get rid of those in Wisconsin who are doing this...and teach them a lesson on who they are accountable to. CNN/MSNBC/FAUX/C-SPAND/NPR and the Networks ......BE DAMNED ...You MISSED what was going on out here in America. WE ARE THE ONES WE WERE WAITING FOR!

20. I was there. Drove up there from St. Louis
with my 16 year old daughter and my 29 year old neice. We visited my sister who lives there. We are all "unemployed". I think there were a lot of non union people there (and lots of farmers, kids and dogs).

It was very beautiful, and millions of American people did not get to see it, thanks to "lame street" media.

We need to keep this movement going and make it bigger.

This is what democracy looks like (even if it's not on teevee!)

26. Look at how little the MSM has covered this Huge Awakening of Workers Rights...Owned...all of them..
by lobbyists, Corporatists, Banksters and other greedy, grasping pilferers who would take the last crust of bread out of a starving child's hand...IF it would benefit them having Mansions in NYC/Greenwich, Ct....or California.

Greedy Bastards! ENOUGH is NEVER ENOUGH for these GREEDY BASTARD's who stole money out of Pensions, Bankrupted American Citizens and State Governments! They HAVE IT ALL...BUT...they WANT IT ALL!

DISGUSTING! really...just disgusting. But, who will ever "Out Them?" Who will HOLD THESE CROOKS
ACCOUNTABLE?

Sorry for "shouting." Should have just done the effor to "bold it" but who would read this, anyway.
