How to wipe Charlie Sheen off the Web (CNN) {browser extensions}
By Doug Gross, CNN
March 10, 2011 5:56 a.m. EST | Filed under: Web

(CNN) -- Don't think Charlie Sheen is #winning any more?

Now you can wipe Hollywood's favorite out-of-control warlock from the internet ... or at least your version of it.

Tinted Sheen is an extension for the Firefox and Chrome browsers that will blot out Sheen's name anywhere it appears.

"Sorry Charlie, but it is time to leave the Internet and go back to your porn family," reads the website for the plug-in. "Let this be the hangover cure for the #winning buzz from which everyone is still recovering."

1. Can that be done re: Lindsay Lohan and the other famous for being famous people?
If so, that's a great new invention.

2. serious question
why so much hate for Charlie? is is just because he is a rich guy who (face it guys) gets tons of women and gets high a lot? people ask him questions and he answers like someone who has enough money to not give a crap about how anyone reacts to it. how exactly does he affect anyone as much as the WI protests or Japans disaster?

6. In my case, it isn't so much hate for Charlie (meh).
I despise and detest the wall-to-wall, unavoidable and pervasive coverage of his personal meltdown.

4. CNN is telling us how to rid of Sheen?
Maybe they should stop reporting about him, then we wouldn't need to "block" him.

7. Okay, I ignored any news with Sheen in it this whole time.
Until yesterday - a friend sent me his goddamned 'cooking show'. And it was complete freaking genius. I'm sorry, but it was. I don't think he's crazy at all, but funny as hell.

9. I don't think he's crazy either.
If you actually listen to what he says between his so-called 'bouts of insanity', he's just saying what a lot of people would say if they could. The whole winning thing? Hell, who DOESN'T want to look at their life, realize they have damn near everything, and say to themselves 'Yeah...I'm winning'. Maybe if 400 rich fuckers in the US could do that one little thing, we wouldn't have to worry about giving them MORE and MORE and MORE and going broker and broker doing it.

And a Browser Extension dedicated solely to oneself (regardless of the reason)? He's the only human in history that I'm aware of to accomplish that task. If that isn't winning, what the fuck is? (Note: Question is asked rhetorically and somewhat tongue in cheek).

8. Charlie Sheen...
...is suffering from many mental health issues. I understand what it is like to be on the brink, and believe me, it is not fun. I hope he takes this time off to get better soon.
