Link to Fuji TV live coverage in Japan
A friend of mine posted this link on Facebook. We've been watching and I've been crying. We have family over there in the Sendai area. Japan is my second home.

2. Know that our hearts are open to your sorrow. Have you been able to reach your family?

4. Thank you.
Yes and no. We were able to contact my husband's parents, they live in Yokohama and are okay.. They were able to contact one of my MIL's sisters who lives in Sendai. Her family is okay, but we don't know the extent of damage to their area and home. Local tv coverage is much more detailed, so it's better to keep watching this, versus our coverage in the states.

5. I'm glad you were able to make sure your family is okay. That is a big relief.
I am very impressed - but not surprised - with the quiet strength and dignity with which the people of Japan has handled this catastrophe. There have been no reports of looting, violence, or extremes of grief or anger. They are a role model to the rest of the world.

3. Thank you for this link
I too have been crying since the start. I hope your family fares well. My mother called me yesterday to tell me she talked to her Brother-in-law in Osaka. They are doing okay. She also said that we have family in Miyazaki Prefecture, which is far, far from any damage. At the time she called, no one knew where all of the damage had been.

I will bookmark this, and watch later. I have been up all night, and need to finally get some sleep. I don't think I have really slept for two days now.

I have donated 100 dollars to www.globalgiving.org. Its the best I can do this month. Perhaps I can do better next month!

頑張れ日本 !!

6. This coverage is much more detailed because it is local
It is truly amazing and heartbreaking at some of the video they are showing.
