Edited on Fri Mar-11-11 01:17 PM by Poll_Blind
From http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-12307698">BBC LIVE coverage page of earthquake in Japan:
1803 President Barack Obama says the US is ready to give Japan any assistance it needs to stabilise the nuclear reactor in Fukushima. Officials have said pressure is rising after a cooling system failure.

On the left side of the page, from about 10 or so minutes ago.

3. Mrs. Greenspan just announced there is a problem with the reactor.
Pressure is 1 1/2 times normal....and that the Air Force is shipping water. She also said they may have to do controlled radiation leaks!

5. but...but..the dismissive "experts" on the other thread said the reactor...
was shut down so the cooling problem is over.

Silly me. Now I thought that decay heat could take days before core meltdown is no longer an issue. But what do I know....
