MoJo Morning Meme: Gov. Walker's handling of WI crisis is 'politically pitch perfect.'
A mix of sincere and grudging admiration around the table.
Some people seem to mistake cold-blooded for cool-headed.

Oh, and big laugh of the morning from Pat Buchannon who thinks people will find scenes of the protesters yelling 'shame!' from the gallery to be disturbing and distasteful.

(Cue the posts from people asking why I watch this garbage. :pals: )

4. As Molly Ivins so eloquently described Buchanan's 1992 RNC speech
“It probably sounded better in the original German.”

It's still an accurate description of most of what Buchanan has to say.

3. Briefly had on CNBC.
Switching channels looking for earthquake coverage, I stopped for a moment on CNBC where Scott Walker's ugly mug appeared "Live".

Man, the CNBC hosts/pundits/whores were nearly on their bellies in prostrated worship of this guy.

It is a weird world in which we live these days.

6. I found Pat's description of growing up white in Washington DC to be disturbing and shameful.
Particularly the part about how he and his siblings would turn the water hose on the African American maid and she was (such a great sport) about it.

7. In my opinion it would do good to stop watching that piece of shit show
so that maybe the ratings would drop so they'd replace it with something relevent, just my opinion mind you.

9. I thought initially (and mistakenly) that MoJo referred to "Mother Jones."
Since I never watch Joe Scarborough .. but I do read MotherJones online.

10. Yes, anytime you have angry mobs of citizens in the streets
You have to say that politically speaking, you've done well. It seems a bit early in the morning to be drinking heavily enough to think like that, but the evidence is right there for all to see.

11. OMG! They've got Walker on! He's saying the unions never gave
any concessions! He said the unions said they did but hadn't. That there were flyers around the courthouse instructing union members not to give in on anything, say what you want publically, but don't give anything! Now, he's citing Daniels who got rid of collective bargaining six years ago (true) un IN is running a much more efficient government because of it. Also brought up, must be the new talking point, that Federal employees do not have collective bargaining rights for pensions and healthcare.

12. Whenever anyone says this, say, "Then you must be with Obama on healthcare reform, and DADT repeal,
and ending DOMA. After all he, like Gov. Walker, is just 'standing on principle.'"

You have a 100% chance of pissing them off with this, by the way, as their tiny brains don't handle cognitive dissonance well.

13. Joe the Scab was a piss-poor Representative when he was in congress,
and he has continued the tradition. He is a moneyed elitist who wouldn't know a fact if it slapped him up side the head, and he hates the working class.
