I know many Americans are just starting to wake up

to the nature of the crisis. But today we are facing the worst national crisis in almost all living memory. There are some who still remember the last crisis, that is the depression. We are facing a crisis that will determine the nature of the nation, and whether this nation is to have a revolution, a civil war, or peaceful change. At this point I am starting to think that the forces pushing for the dissolution of the social contract are not thinking this through and wil be surprised when they find themselves with more than just a few hundreds of thousands in the streets. We are at one of those moments.

Now I am hopping our revolution can be peaceful. I know some are absolutist about the term, but Americans tend to go through major societal changes with little violence and blood. (Yes there was violence and blood spilled during the Depression)... but out other choices are not precisely what I'd like to see. That said, at this point we are definitely on the road for a crisis the likes of which Americans mostly have no memory off, as in living memory. Wisconsin, OH, New Jersey, Indiana... are just the opening fronts. Oh and I cannot predict how this will end.

What is for sure is that the Revolution will NOT be televised, but it WILL BE on twitter. To expect it on the TV reveals a stunning, but not surprising given our collective ignorance of US History. Our power Elites will studiously avoid covering this... period. And when they do, they are looking for familiar and SCARY story lines. such as Union Thugs and slobs. The fact they are going there, means they are scared about it, and they know how critical these opening fronts are... and people are waking up to the reality. That is a yawning public realizing that yes, it is us vs them. But how this worm will turn in the end, I hope that it stays mostly peaceful, but none of us can predict that. And anybody who claims this, at this point... is a fool. But trends, we are now deeply in place, and we are now on our way for a MAJOR crisis.

As they say, the CRISIS is here... work with it, or against it, but it is here.

Oh and the Revolution will not be televised, but it will be on twitter... as badly "sourced" as twitter is.. that is where the news is.

6. Trust me, having interviewed SURVIVORS from actual

revolutions who were tortured by members of a certain famous battalion in oh El Salvador... and having been down range from actual ammo... I have no illusions. Why I HOPE this stays PEACEFUL... care to re-read the OP? Most of this country's revolutions have been MOSTLY peaceful... or did I miss the major army operations in the Shenandoah in 1934?

The outcome, if we do not stand-up to this historical call, could be very grim indeed. It is not hard to extrapolate the dreadful results of a complete corporate rule of our governing, culture and personal lives. It is already lifting its huge, bulbous head up like some grotesque Chimera.

We have reached a boiling point and the decisions are in our laps now. If we fall back and hope it will get better on its own, the opportunity may fade away and we will be coerced to live in a neo-Fascist nightmare, (at work, in school, at home, etc.) possibly for generations. With the technology and money available to our future despots, Orwell will be seen as an optimist ... until Orwell's work is erased from history.

That's how dire this struggle is ... for everyone.

without a fight ("..fall back and hope it will get better on it's own...") in 3 to 5 years we're back to, not just a new Gilded Age on steriods, but an actual feudal system. WE HAVE TO FIGHT THIS WITH EVERYTHING WE'VE GOT.
