1. Thanks!
I have tried Wellness, sometimes my 3 cats like it and sometimes they walk away. They are on a Science Diet kick right now, I never can tell what food they are going to be into this week ha.

2. Natural Balance is a good cat food.

Reading Wellness' letter I think they rather went overboard, but I give them credit for being so careful with peoples' pets' health.

I like Natural Balance, they have never been on any recall list.

Wellness is good food too, but more expensive than Natural Balance.

3. Speaking of cat food, I ate some earlier this week...
Of course the can wasn't labeled 'cat food.' It said 'solid white tuna' and it was a 'special' for $1 at Dollar General. Hell, I thought, give it a try...dumb move. Total cat food crap. Not sure I would even feed it to a cat.

Ptoooey.

5. Buying food at the dollar store can be harrowing anyway.
A lot of the food in dollar stores is at or near expiration, or for other reasons were pulled from store shelves and liquidated on the secondary market.

In this age of lax (i.e. slim to none) governmental oversight/inspections, I would urge anyone buying dollar store foodstuffs to be particularly cautious. Caveat Emptor and all that rot...
