It's not that the palaces are so luxurious (which they are), it's that there are SO MANY of them, scattered across tiny Bahrain.

And apparently each one NEEDS several square kilometres that are forbidden to the public.

And almost ALL owned by the ruling family, while the peasants drown in their own sewage.

Unbelievable.
