But this point in his first term, Bush was already working on his second war. Why is Obama's term going by so quickly? If all I did on my job was mop up somebody else's leftover mess, I'd expect time to drag out, not fly by without me noticing much.

Subjective time is another matter all together.

How long does it seem to take before you see the dentist? How long does that really fun party last?

And somehow, when you age, as other elders relate to me, time seems to go faster and faster. So fast, sometimes, it feels like you are being hurled towards the grave on a roller coaster called The Last Ride. ;)
