1. That is NOT the list of cuts in the 2-week CR that will pass this week. That is from the 7 month CR
that the House passed, which will never pass the Senate (let alone be signed by Obama).

The only reason the 2-week CR will pass is because of the 4 billion in cuts, 2.7 billion is rescinding previous appropriations for earmarks (which both parties are opposed to) and 1.3 billion are cuts that Obama already proposed (which both parties support).

The 7-month CR, on the other hand, is vigorously opposed by Obama and Senate Democrats, and Obama already issued a veto threat for it. So your list of cuts is not applicable to what will actually happen (outside of simply listing the Republican wish list).

No surprises there on what they're targeting -- community policing, high-speed rail, WIC, NASA, arts and humanities funding, Legal Services, food aid.
