When Will The Repug Governors Privatize Public Sector Jobs?......
Is the next move on the part of Repug Governors privatization of public sector jobs like the police force, etc? Will they be looking to Xe (formerly known as Blackwater) to become a private police force for their states?
the goal is to privitize education - you watch, follow the line. All you teachers who spent your $$'s you will be out of a job. I saw this when I returned to work at the community colleges after retiring. I read between the lines .... education from the bottom up will be privitized. So will many other groups. I live in a state who is working on this. Where are the teachers here when I asked you questions?, it got buried. I don't know what to tell you anymore. You don't respond guess you don't care.
2. Where will they get the tax revenues to pay the private parties
to run schools?
They may try to do this, but I think they will fail.
I expect that individuals will form their own very progressive schools and public services. Some communities may even revert to volunteer policing and fire services or hiring cheap small companies that eventually morph into old-fashioned municipal or county police or sheriff departments. Large corporations will not be willing to do this work for what governments or communities can afford to pay.
Of course, the quality of these services and the quality of the equipment at their disposal will not meet today's standards. But then the general standard of living will be lower.
We are headed for very hard times.
I am predicting the emergence of a strong progressive backlash to what the Republicans are inflicting on ordinary Americans.
3. K&R- They are trying to end Civil Service, and return to the old patronage system
most of the US had before Teddy Roosevelt...the politicians in power gave-sold-public jobs to their friends or to whoever paid them a cut. Funny, there is always enough money for their friends...
