16. I've crunched the numbers here. Over 600,000 who voted for Obama did not vote in this election.

Walker only won by less than 125,000 votes and somehow received 90% of the vote that McCain received in 2008 while his Democratic opponent, Tom Barrett, only received 60% of the number of votes that went to Obama. If Barrett had gotten just 25% of those 600,000 who voted for Obama but could not be bothered to vote in the gubernatorial election he would have won. Maybe we could have reelected Feingold as well.

18. And I don't know if it's been on here or not, but Ohio today passed a bill that

takes away collective bargaining rights for ALL groups - including Fire and Police personnel! I heard it on Norman Goldman - how did I miss that? Again, if they'd turned out to vote the state Senate probably wouldn't have been so heavily Republican!

This really concerns me about 2012. So many who were backing Obama have become disillusioned and angry and refuse to vote for him again. This just burns me up. Put your ideals aside, it's not about just YOU. What good will feeling righteous do when we're under Republican rule??
