1. Tried to vote but there is sort sort of error...I'm on a proxy server.
I 'voted' for the 3rd choice....just don't trust the repubs.

3. I'm apparently in the minority who still think...
That some kind of "compromise" will be reached. As it is now it's a total stalemate. This can't go on forever.

4. No offense but I can't tell you how much I have grown to hate the word compromise.
The public employees have given. The other side just needs to leave collective bargaining alone....they don't have to give anything. And, I whole heartedly agree that this can't go on forever.

Welcome to DU! :hi:

5. Thanks, snappyturtle! :)
All of what you said is why I put "compromise" in quotes.

Anonymous finds incriminating documents linking Walker with some very illegal stuff, Walker is arrested, tried, and thrown in prison where he's sold to a large man named Tinkles for three cigarettes and a bar of soap.

OR

Bill is passed, but struck down as unconstitutional/illegal/whatever, Walker is found guilty of numerous violations of the law, is arrested, tried, and thrown in prison where he's sold to a large man named Tinkles for three cigarettes and a bar of soap.

OR

Walker finally snaps, declares himself The Reagan Reborn, and vanishes on a quest to defeat the Dark One, and is never heard from again. Nor is he missed.

Really, I'm not picky.
