I thought I read on one of the threads yesterday (didn't stick around to read more of it, had to go to the SF rally out here) where you were reconsidering what you thought of Pres. Obama's getting involved. You had been for it, but yesterday I thought I read on a thread (no doubt long gone to the pages 2,3,4....) that you were now thinking it was probably better that he had not inserted himself into this.

Then I did read someone's post today that showed the rightwing media had started lying, in now saying that Obama was involved, was sending in union goons, etc.

Do you still feel that way and did you see the lies I am referring to?

Did those of you outside of WI know that? We're being hit with ads here like it's general election primary season.

For a minute the other day I was pissed that Obama is not more involved - but, fuck that - he needs to keep his distance exactly as he has. He spoke in support - that's all we need. Anymore would turn this into an issue about him. This is a deeper, grass-roots issue. And I saw it with my own two eyes. Obama spoke in support of the unions - this is where AFP has gotten what little fodder they have to make it about Obama originated.

This is a local issue and the local Democrats are acting like superheroes. Be proud of them.
