You want to read a real good smack down of Florida's new wing-nut Governor?
When he's politicking, Gov. Rick Scott spends a lot of time talking about his faith.

During the campaign, he pronounced himself "absolutely" destined for heaven.

During his inauguration ceremonies, he told the audience: "Jesus Christ has been with me all my life."

On the day he unveiled his first budget, he did it inside a church.

And yet as I look through Scott's budget — which slashes funding to everyone from the sick and the disabled to the poor and the homeless — I can't help but wonder whether Scott truly believes his budget cares for those whom Jesus described "the least among you."

<snip>
He targeted programs that provide eyeglasses and hearing aids to the elderly and the disabled.

He proposed cuts to the departments of Elderly Affairs, Persons With Disabilities, Veterans Affairs and Children and Families.

He wants to completely eliminate Florida's Office on Homelessness and the Medically Needy program, which helps about 40,000 people with serious illnesses and massive medical bills.

Gone may be coverage for kidney dialysis and medication for those infected with HIV.

That last part made chills run down the spines of those at Orlando's Hope and Help Center, which could lose more than half of its entire budget — more than $3 million used to provide life-sustaining medicine and treatment to those suffering from AIDS and HIV.

3. And Scott's tongue doesn't turn black and fall out of his mouth?
So my agnostic/atheist philosophy is correct: there is no sky-master.

That's the more likely outcome of his 'hereafter.'

------
"In discussing his own humble origins, Scott implied that all black lawmakers grew up poor.

“I grew up probably in the same situation as you guys,” Scott said to the group of 20 Democrats. “I started school in public housing. My dad had a sixth-grade education.”

----------
On push for health care law: 'It’s Obamacare to me. That’s what it is,' Gov. Rick Scott said. When lawmakers asked him to call it by its formal title, the Affordable Health Care Act, Scott said: 'You know, when I’m on Fox, they never call it that.'

I'm guessing his Mommy will have to come out with another commercial defending him.

12. He sounds like a Calvinist.
He was born saved so he doesn't have to worry about his behavior throughout his life. He doesn't believe he'll ever see the fires of hell, no matter how demonic he behaves during his lifetime.
