10. My husband and I just had that discussion. I told him I will never look at him again in the same

light. He is from Cleveland and I always thought he was a "good" guy who understood the little guy! I guess you can't tell a book by it's cover! When those people come up on the Price is Right I wonder what he is really thinking? Ugh!

18. He's being paid huge money not to let on what he's really thinking

when those people are called to the stage. In order to have the chance to win some ugly ass living room furniture or whatever, they have to arrive in the early AM, stand in line for hours, and undergo prescreening while still outdoors. Once inside they are prepped to act like they're being a done huge favor and should kiss the ground Carey walks on if they are lucky enough to be one of the chosen few. The whole process is demeaning and if someone does win something, it's considered income and taxed by the IRS. Carey is no doubt thinking these people are a bunch of suckers.

13. We all know middle class people with expensive stuff.

If the middle class completely collapsed, that does not mean that there won't be a few people with money to spend. To take a few examples of people who over spend, and claim that this indicates that everyone else is thriving... I have no words for it.

The middle class still exists. No one is claiming it doesn't. But the gap is growing. We don't know what the personal finances of those guys (in the video) are. I have a friend who runs to his bank every time he wants to spend more than a few hundred dollars. He tacks the debt onto his mortgage. You can't get him to understand how self destructive that is.

refinancing their homes. I don't blame someone for wanted a nice car, isn't that what we have the US for? This is supposed to be the "land of opportunity". It was Wall Street that brought this country down and Mr. Carey has to be blind not to see it or just plan ruthless.

16. Drew Carey is a hypocrite. The entertainment

industry is heavily unionized, and he himself no doubt takes advantage of every benefit his union offers.

If any CA government worker is driving around in an Escalade or on a lake in a speed boat, it might be because he won it on The Price is Right. No way does the average state employee have the money to live the kind of life Carey lives.
