Because of the teachers I didn't go to Madison today.
Last week I did. I marched with two sisters and two brothers-in-law. Two are teachers, one works for the state and the other for a county. They will all be affected by Walker's bull.

This week I didn't go.

Instead I kept my prior commitment to judge at our high school science fair.

I was bummed thinking that I would miss out on the chance to demonstrate again in Madison, especially after seeing Amy Goodman talk last night at UW-M.

I want to thank all teachers for making my day judging the science fair just as inspiring as my time in Madison last weekend. Their work shows in the eyes of the young scientists pouring their energy into their projects.

Judging by the skill of these students, our teachers are ensuring we will a have bright future.
