8. My LEAST favorite sign and it distresses me that a girl is carrying it.
I have 3 granddaughters and to me little girls are fabulous creatures, full of energy, excitement and wonder. This sign's message should be quietly abandoned. Little girls are not the problem.

All the other signs are wonderful!

We had a beautiful, warm day for our gathering here in Atlanta!

6. Lucky you! It was a little chilly. This might interest you,
There was one woman that spoke at the protest. She was a teacher. She had been out shopping at the mall with her little ones and wondered what the protest was. Her union did not tell her about it.

She got up and spoke off the cuff saying she would stay there after the protest to take names to help organize another one.

I was interrupted while she was speaking because some larouchie nut bag was trying to goad me and another woman into bad mouthing the tea party.

Asked if we were the tea party, and we're like are you nuts?

Happens to be, as I just found out on another thread that the guy is the one that goaded RI union workers on Tuesday and his video made all the RW rounds.

9. Did you see the 84 year old Gent who spoke and...
said that it's time for everyone to get off their comfortable couches and chairs? He had a pretty darned good message!
