Rhode Island is in an uproar over this, the latest assault on teachers.

3. That is a huge problem...now that I know! It seems to me that there
are lots of these problems all over the country right now and it is collectively a well organized attack. We know the news media isn't very interested so what do we do other than inform each other like we do here on DU. WI is really lucky it's gotten so much attention! I'm also beginning to wonder if tptb thought teachers would roll over and they would be a good starting point for the corporate/conservative take over? It is the reason WI is SO-O important. imho
