From the needy, to the greedy.
Edited on Sat Feb-26-11 11:53 AM by RedCloud
For over 30 years the money has been thrown at the problem: The super rich. Today they have shamefully amassed over ten trillion dollars world wide that they do not even put into circulation or bank accounts according a WSJ report last year. This is over 12% of the world's wealth.

At this point I cannot help but imagine them as some Greek Gods watching us from Mount Olympus. Watching us starve and panic and pay ever higher prices, accept ever more degrading low paying jobs just to eke out a mere existence. If that money were to circulate, say use it or lose it, many of our world's problems
affecting people would go away. Money produces more money. You have to spend money to create money. More things bought means more production, more jobs.

But they already know this. What they want is everything. Do they ever thank us for what we do for them? Thank us for paying taxes while they don't? Fight their wars for them while they profit from that war, maybe selling arms to both sides?

Iraq sits atop the world's most easily extractable oil. Whosoever shall control those oil fields stands to make over a trillion in extra profits. This comes at the price of another undeclared "war". According to our own Pentagon, Afghanistan has over a trillion dollars too in untapped mineral resources.
Interesting how our military is so involved with such non military issues. And all this at the cost of human lives.

And those oil companies. They lie worse than a hog in slop. Offshore oil goes anywhere. No energy independence. Egypt does NOT export oil, Libya barely. Yet they want to pretend there is an oil crisis brewing. They forget to tell you how Republican they are. Those are Republican price hikes you see at the pumps. And yes they do conspire. Why are the prices so much in harmony? Why not el cheapo gas with a risk of water and gourmet gasoline at ten times the price? Oh and their buddies in the auto industry, thick as thieves with them. Do you really think THEY deserve to be the companies that create the alternative transportation mobiles when they created the crisis in the first place? And for decades thwarted efforts to have alternate vehicles. And what is this about the electric car? Check with Tesla and improve his theories.

But then that means cheap and affordable and not for the super-rich. How are you guys doing with those solar systems in your back yard so you can run your Christmas lights free of energy charge? Oh yeah, that doesn't seem to be feasible???

And how religion has corrupted itself to serve these super-rich. Where is the condemnation of those who worship money? Of those who allow children, for God's sake, to live in neglect and starvation and die by the millions each year? Ten trillion hoarded.

Yet they are called job creators. I say job traitors. If they ship jobs overseas, their cheap manufactured goods should be embargoed and those owners classified as foreign agents.

But government bashing does them a world of good. This leaves the power vacuum all in their corrupt favor. Look at the USA when the federal government was weak. What did we have? Robber barons. Those who fought for unions were often killed. In Labor's Untold Story reports of over 50,000 union workers being killed. Around the world on may day workers give speeches remembering our dead workers..

Dead because they wanted to have a thing called a week-end after 40 hours work.
Killed because they wanted a living wage.
Murdered because they wanted their children to actually have a chance and stop
working their tiny bodies to death in factories.

And now those greedy bastards are after our bank accounts, our social security, our above minimum wage jobs, our pensions, our right to bargain collectively, our retirement plans, our chance to single payer health care, any place you might have a dime to your name.

And they will do this by controlling our government in all its aspects and they will count on the military to strike against us, like during the robber baron period.

1. The Saudis and the Kuwaitis need their oil to be worth more so they can provide for their people
Or they will be thrown out. I can see where OPEC might be happy with higher prices.

2. You are giving too much credit to the rich
They don't actually think of the 'little people'. They don't even notice the people who work for them, unless that person makes a mistake. They are very self absorbed. It is actually amazing to see. Until I knew some rich people, I thought they were like everyone else. Not so. They think people actually like going to thrift stores or garage sales to buy stuff, rather than going to a store. It never enters their mind that people go to thrift stores and garage sales because they can't afford to go to stores. Some of the things I've heard, reminds me that they live on a totally different planet than the rest of us.

3. And what really burns my butt is how these very people are attacking Obama for
wanting to redistribute the wealth - and their sheeple believe them.

That's the thing about these assholes, they somehow get to own the messaging. ENOUGH! People all over the world are waking up.
