Heard on NPR all the crap WI republicans were tryin to through in this bill, no wonder Walker got bood out of a restaurant today.

From my recollection of history busting knees were part of busting unions, don't think these type of people wont get to the point of "fight you" before we win.

Mahatma Gandhi "...First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win..."

1. I have no doubt they might revert to covert violence if needed, and will blame
it on leftest socialist thugs starting violence.

3. It will get a lot worse before it gets better.
The technical weapons our government has to fight protesters are far advanced of things like the security guards wielding billy clubs. Or Water Cannon Hoses.

There is technology out there that can heat your skin with micro waves. Or sound machines that can burst your ear drums.

All for our own good, of course! <sarcasm intended>

6. I just realized that tonight
Was thinking about Libya, and realized that when shit gets real here - we're going to be up against the best funded military in the world. And Blackwater is headquartered in my state.

Plus, we're not going to be all chanting "We are one hand" and marching and sitting in squares together. There's hundreds of thousands of well-armed right wingers who've been fed hate for decades, and it will be their dream come true to shoot at other Americans.

4. I think you can bet on it
Not that the Kochs will dare sully their dainty manicured hands, but they'll goon it up. The robber barons have wanted blood in the streets for decades, and now they've pushed it to an existential fight for what's left of the middle class. We're not going to just lie down and die for them, so they're going to have to take the next inevitable step.

Or back down like the bullying cowards they are.

8. My dad was a die hard Teamster
When I was a boy I remember him and his Teamster bros getting ready to go out and picket. They were making up their signs and stapling them to ax handles

I sincerely hope violence doesn't break out, but if it does, I hope the good guys give 'em as good or better than they get. :headbang:

9. They're just waiting for an excuse to bust knees and heads.
And they will try to manufacturer such an excuse. The protesters have to stay calm.

There will be people purposely trying to provoke them. They cannot respond to this.

There will be people pretending to be on their side and acting violently or trying to egg the protesters into committing violence. They cannot allow this.

There will be people covertly taking videos, probably with cellphones, trying to catch angry words or moments that can be dishonestly edited and taken out of context.

Because of all of this the protesters must be ever vigilant and ever calm and thoughtful, an almost superhuman task under the circumstances.
