I called the ALA today.

A month ago (the prior owner who was in the ALA Union) I received in the mail a newsletter for the Amalgamated Lithographers of America. I kept it for some reason, now this has come up. I am putting in an application, they take them the first Thursday of each month. This whole thing has me fired up. We need to build the Unions up, not tear them down, they built the middle class, without them we will all be making $5.00 an hour.

Yes, I called to join my local union, I am up in age and don't have a pention, and am not against someone who does. We need to band together and strengthen not go to their level. I hate when I see people not in the union say they are against it. They would rather pull people down to there level than let them pull them up. I don't understand.
