Mother of girl featured in shocking anti-abortion billboard is outraged by ad: 'I want an apology'

The controversial anti-abortion billboard in SoHo was removed after a storm of protest erupted.

A controversial billboard in SoHo equating abortion among black women with genocide was yanked Thursday night.

Bowing to heavy pressure, Lamar Advertising Co. agreed to pull the ad above Sixth Ave. and Watts St., which featured a picture of a young black girl below the message, "The most dangerous place for African Americans is in the womb."

The shocking billboard blind-sided New Jersey mom Tricia Fraser, who was furious that her 6-year-old daughter, Anissa, was featured in the anti-abortion group Life Always's ad.

"I want an apology," Fraser, 36, told the Daily News. "I'm happy that it's , but at the same time I'm concerned that they can use that image again."

as to how their image is used. the contract is very clear.

Having said that, "shocking" is exactly right. However "racist" and "exploitively manipulative" are more instructive terms.

Unfortunately, I don't know how much control the individual model would have over who uses it. Still, shame seemed to work pretty well in this case (considering how little shame someone must have had to put up this billboard in the first place).

7. It is truly amazing that conservatives can rail about

Black welfare queens and their endless stream of welfare babies, can at the same time close down organizations like ACORN and Planned Parenthood that work to reduce unwanted pregnancies, thus increasing the birth rate among those they refer to as welfare queens, and at the same time condemn abortion, while coming full circle and running around screaming their mostly white head off because they will be the minority demographic with in the next generation.

That is Saray Palin word salad think, and it is bigoted at every step.

So the mostly lily white RepoBaggers brag we ended slavery, but we hate blacks. We love babies but if you are black woman and have a black baby, we will hate you and the baby, that we forced you to havewhether you wanteda baby or not.
