my son, who lives in a really small town in the TX hill country found this authentic "WW I" Nazi arm band.......and they wonder about the education in this state.

3. Oh, that's just stupid.
Everyone knows Eisenhower crossed the Delaware. Lincoln was the one who wrote the Declaration of Independence.

9. Oh, come on now...
Eisenhower didn't actually cross the Delaware, but Lt. Col. Dwight D. Eisenhower was a member of the first motor convoy to travel coast to coast. This happened in 1919. (The convoy averaged six miles per hour.) This trip, and Ike's recollections of the German Autobahn system (the one good thing Hitler ever did) influenced his championing of the Interstate Highway Act.

Mr. Laurel is a 3rd year law student (in his 40s). Today in one of his classes, a couple of his fellow students brought up the impact of Hitler and WWII on the Russian revolution. :crazy:
