OMG! Boehner quote on Wisconsin protesters:
"I urge the president to order the DNC to suspend these tactics," he said. "This is not the way you begin an 'adult conversation' in America about solutions to the fiscal challenges that are destroying jobs in our country."

Thanks for the explanation, daddy.. :puke: :wtf: :grr:

2. Gee, condescending much?
Also I seriously doubt the DNC is organizing these protests. From what I've heard its a grassroots thing. Even If I'm wrong there, need I reminder the Speaker about his party cheering on members of the Tea party from the Capital last year? The hypocrisy of the Right never ceases.

3. The protesters are protesting partly because the
governor won't talk about his bill. He's trying to just push it through. So Boner has it backwards again. Big surprise.

Edited on Thu Feb-17-11 04:31 PM by Downtown Hound
We're WAY, WAAAYYY, past that. The time now is to be in your face, aggressive, confrontational, and fierce. When Republicans and corporations are actually willing to behave like adults, then we'll talk about having an adult conversation.

Besides, Boner has already stated this week that the loss of jobs is not a concern to him.

can use an intelligent argument to persuade the very stupid. I for one am done with bipartisanship. DONE.

17. John, For starters, the President cannot order the DNC to do anything. Unlike the RNC, the DNC is
run like a democracy and in any case the President is not the head of the DNC.

Second, where is your evidence that the DNC is orchestrating the "tactics" in Wisconsin?
Again, you seem to confuse the DNC with the RNC. The DNC does not orchestrate protests. How do you even know the protesters are all Democrats? I am sure some are. But I'll bet you that more than a few of them are Independents and yes, Republicans.

22. Well from Boehner's perspective this is actually logical
the DNC is with the unions, you see.... so of course the DNC CONTROLS the unions...

:sarcasm:

We don't. they don't, but to republicans the mere idea that Americans might stand for their rights does not make any sense whatsoever.
