I can't help thinking that we need Keith Olbermann back NOW.
With the NON-coverage of the Wisconsin protests going great guns, I can't help but think of the special comments that COULD be made virtually every night on the way the middle class is being ripped apart.

I know he has that contract thing that keeps him from coming back till May -- but damn! We need KO!

12. He's been doing a great job too.
It's unfortunate that he got bumped to the last hour in the evening line-up and many people have gone to bed before then. Ed has always been on top of the game when it comes to labor and the rights of the working and middle class.

We sure could have used his voice and his perspective on the last SEVERAL major stories - from State of the Union week to Egypt to Wisconsin.

I CANNOT help but feel at least a little bit suspicious about the timing.

Too populist for his effete, beltway, insider, elitist sensibilities is my guess.

5. Plenty of internets venues to post his rants.
Haven't seen one yet. Was he only in it for the money??

he said "with Keith it was never about the money"

I do believe that...

6. I miss him terribly too,
in the course of a day, when you knew the right wing was out destroying the country, you could turn on to Countdown. Somehow he made me feel safe, everything was going to be OK, because he was in our corner.

14. Yes, it's too bad his voice has been muted temporarily.
Since he left his show I have imagined the commentaries he would have made about the history making events that have happened since his departure.
